The director of the human rights organization Right of the Child, Boris Altshuler, has written to the President of France, François Hollande, demanding that the Russian Children’s Ombudsman, Pavel Astakhov, who supported the ‘anti-Magnitsky’ law, be banned from entering the country.

Boris Altshuler said in an interview with Russian News Agency: “The cynicism of many Russian officials and delegates of both houses of the Federal Assembly is limitless, but civilized countries have a right to close their borders to these people. We have to save the children, and Astakhov with his own hand has denied children the opportunity to get medical care. And we have to ask help from everyone, even from God.”
