The judgment handed down in Zamoskvoretsky court in the Bolotnoe case is a miscarriage of justice that comes as no suprise.
But this ruling obliges use to remind those involved of a number of points.
We remind the authorities that their attempts by these means to choke off and destroy public protests are counterproductive. Events in Ukraine are an example of what results when the authorities persistently ignore public opinion.
We remind those who have been involved in the practical matter of bringing about this ruling that, in addition to the responsibility of those who ordered these decisions, they also bear responsibility for what has happened.
Those who have taken it upon themselves to carry out the will of the authorities have done this not under threat of being shot. Most likely they have not even been threatened with losing their jobs. The investigators and judges who fabricated the ‘Bolotnoe case’ have committed a crime against justice.
