European Court says prisoners in Russia should have the vote

The European Court of Human Rights has recommended that Russia give convicts the right to vote at elections, as they are currently deprived of this right in conformity with the Constitution of the Russian Federation. The judgment of the Strasbourg Court, according to which the restriction violates citizens’ rights, has been published on the Court’s website.
