Prosecutor General’s Office aims to ‘uncover agents’ and ‘force them to comply’

The inspections of non-profit organizations are being carried out in order to uncover ‘foreign agents’ and to force them to comply with the law, according to a letter from deputy Prosecutor-General Viktor Grin to the head of the Presidential Council on Human Rights, Mikhail Fedotov. The letter states that the inspection of NGOs does not have a mass character. The results of the inspections will be assessed at the end of May. [Read more]
