Perm regional Prosecutor's Office has appealed against rulings by magistrates courts acquitting Perm Civic ChamberGRANI and Perm Human Rights Centre of charges of failing to register as 'foreign agents'.

Earlier, magistrates courts in districts No. 21 and No. 138 had dismissed charges against the non-profit organizations brought by regional prosecutors for failing to register as 'foreign agents', and demanding that the organizations be fined as a result.

The appeals lodged by the Prosecutor's Office will be heard by the Perm Lenin district court. The dates for the hearings have not yet been decided,  Perm Civic Chamber reports
