The newspaper Izvestia reports that the first reading of a bill to amend the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation by introducing a penalty for failure to comply with the law on the blacklisting of websites was to take place on November 20th in the State Duma. The bill would provide for fines of up to 15,000 roubles for anyone providing unfiltered access to the Internet for children. [Read more]
