· Freedom of expression 

There can be no Freedom without freedom of the press. A society cannot be free without freedom of information. A society deprived of accurate information will also, at some time or other, necessarily be deprived of fundamental freedoms: freedom of opinion, freedom of lawful expression of their choice in elections, and of expression of political preference. 

And some will be deprived of their freedom as such as a result of a falsified police protocol and an immoral court ruling. 

Censorship and pressure on the mass media, the forcing of whole editorial boards and individual journalists to lie, blatant silence about, and distortion of, information on the television – all this has logically led over recent years to what has happened during the elections. [Read more]
