No Prosecution of Orthodox Activists

The police ministry does not regard the actions of Orthodox activists who tore off someone’s t-shirt that displayed an image of the Virgin Mary in a balaclava and a slogan calling for the release of Pussy Riot, as criminal. There will be no prosecution of those involved.  This was the conclusion reached by Police Captain A. Goryunov, an investigative officer at Moscow’s Paveletsky station. [Read more]
