The Agora Human Rights Association reports that on 15 October Taisiya Osipova's lawyer sent a supplement to the cassation appeal to the Smolensk Oblast Court against the activist's guilty verdict, which includes a certified translation of the judgment passed by the European Court of Human Rights in the case of "Veselov and others v Russia". The European Court’s decision of 2 October has effectively called into question the legality of the operational search and investigative activities practised in our country. [Read more]
