European Court of Human Rights To Rule on Pichugin Case

On 23 October 2012 the European Court of Human Rights will publish its judgment on the application by the former Yukos security chief Aleksei Pichugin, the Strasbourg court's website reports. As Pichugin's lawyer, Kseniya Kostromina from the International Protection Centre, explains, what's under discussion is the first application made by her client. It relates to Aleksei Pichugin's first trial where he was charged with organising the murder of husband and wife Sergei and Olga Gorin and of organising attempts on the lives of Viktor Kolesov and Olga Kostina.
