Constitutional Court Considers Complaint about Law on Rallies

Article 20, citing RIA Novosti, has reported that on 27th November 2012 the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation began consideration of a complaint lodged by opposition politician Eduard Limonov, who has called for the law on rallies to be recognized as inconsistent with the Constitution. The Court will also consider a request lodged by members of the State Duma about the constitutionality of amendments made to this law. [Read more]
