Two More Suspects Detained in Bolotnaya Square Investigation

Two more individuals have been detained as part of the criminal investigation into the violations that took place during the “March of Millions,” states a June 8 Lenta. ru report, citing the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation

According to a statement by the Investigative Committee, the two detainees are 37-year-old Mikhail Kosenko and 20-year-old Stepan Zimin. They currently face charges on two accounts: “participation in mass riots” (Article 212, Section 2, of the Criminal Code) and “use of violence against a government representative” (Article 318, Section 1, of the Criminal Code). [Read more]
